Installation

  1. Download the plugin
  2. From the Joomla! "Extension Manager" choose "Upload Package File" and select the plg_simplegoogleanalytics_v1.0.zip file you've downloaded.
  3. Upload & Install.

Usage

  1. Go to the "Plugin Manager" and enable the "Simple Google Analytics" plugin.
  2. In your Google Analytics account copy your tracking ID.
  3. Paste it in the "Analytics tracking ID" plugin field and save.
  4. Optionally enable "Anonymous IP tracking" to anonymize IP addresses and comply with European privacy laws.
